Have you verified the file remains? If you press Shift+Delete on a file, disregard the prompt, choose it again, and hit Shitf+Delete, you might encounter several confirmations. Clicking Yes on each will trigger this issue. You could also try the alternative approach here: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/why-are-you-...-software/ Consider the fifth option. Entering a black line for the new file name will cause it to be removed instead.
