I was playing Overwatch, and similar issues occur in other games like Shadows of Mordor. Occasionally I don’t recognize the problem or understand why it appears. Could you tell me what it’s called and whether anyone else has experienced this? It can happen sometimes, other times it fills the screen, starts immediately, or appears after hours of play. Thanks in advance!
I don't have a clear concept yet, but it probably involves your GPU or its drivers. Could you tell me the model and age of your GPU, as well as whether its drivers are current?
Intel Core i5-2500K CPU running at 3.30GHz on a GA-Z68P-DS3 motherboard with 8GB RAM. Kingston DDR3 memory, HyperX Fury X 8GB GPU, Zotac GTX 970 graphics card. Samsung 128GB SSD storage, Cooler Master GX 750W power supply, LB flatron W2442PA monitor, LG Flatron E2411 cooling NH-D15 keyboard, Razer Lycosa mouse, Mad Catz MMO7 operating system. Windows 10 installed; system is about a year old, purchased in January 2015.
Consider revisiting earlier steps. If none resolve the issue, it might help to have your GPU inspected at a store for any potential problems with the hardware or drivers.
This process occurs when the Games API doesn't align with your driver's version. It may also indicate a more significant issue, such as memory problems.
