Java latest version. I dont think it has to do with the mobo... its Asus P5B. Dude... those are the requirements for the vanilla game, if u read my topic, i dont have problem running the original game. My problem is with the mod i mentioned.

The mod became corrupt, making the game fail to start. I reviewed the documentation for the mod, but it didn’t provide clear guidance.

I don't believe the mod is corrupt. I just need someone with a solid grasp of software and its functionality to respond to my post. A person recommended this program: http://dege.freeweb.hu/. Based on what I know, my GPU (GeForce 7900 GT/GTO) supports DirectX 9.0c, but the game (gdVoodoo 2) doesn't use DirectX 9, so it shouldn't help in my situation. Please, find someone who understands these things and let me know if you can or cannot use gdVoodoo 2 for that mod.

If you're concerned about DX9, get it installed or look for a game disc with it as an add-on and install it yourself. Share any updates you find. Consider checking out older Voodoo cards or ones that only support DX8 and Shader Model 2.0.
