1)There is a game called Temple of Elemental Evil . 2)I can install and play the game normally, BUT i want to play it with a new mod called Temple+. But when i run the exe of the mod i get the error below: Runtime Error! Program: ..../zgo(the way i named my user)/AppData/Local/TemplePlus/app-1.0.29/TemplePlus.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. 3)My OP is Windows 7 64bit. 4)The developer of the mod says: maybe its because of my GPU, which is -> GeForece 7900 GT/GTO (11 year old now). 5)What could have changed so drastically that while i can run the original game i cant run the mod? Here is a link to the mod and its features http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php...log.99319/ I have tried a couple of things but nothing worked. - I dont have hopes.. but maybe im lucky and there is a solution?

The 7900 GT/GTO platform runs DirectX 9.0c (SM3) by default. Updates for Windows, Visual C++, and the .NET Framework are already present.

Your GPU isn't compatible with DX11, which is why it's happening.

Consider using a DX11 card and see how it performs. If the software works fine (updates, compilers, etc.), the issue likely lies with the hardware.

Click the desktop shortcut, open its properties, and test it in a compatible environment for Windows NT or XP.

Yup software appears to work. All required visuals and C++ tools are installed, framework version 4.6.2 is set up, and the GPU is current.

Regarding dxwebsetup, .NET 2.0/3.5.x, and Windows updates like SP1: C++ Visual works with both x86 and x64 builds (x64 required only for x64 OS).

For major C++ Visual versions: 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015.

Visual supports both x86 and x64 versions, covering the period from 2005 to 2015. SP1 has been applied. I ran dxwebsetup but it indicated a more recent Direct X version is present, so no update was necessary. I haven’t installed .NET 2 or 3.5 yet. EDIT: .NET 2 and 3.5 are already installed.

It seems the issue might be with my GPU not supporting DirectX11. Please let me know. Appreciate your help!

Not the GPU. Have you tried the approach I mentioned earlier? I didn’t create this for my well-being.
