Hi, it seems this board might need a BIOS upgrade to work with the Picasso CPU 3200G. Check if the board can flash without a CPU installed. Some users may not be able to do that. You could also visit a nearby store and ask if they can handle the update. Another choice is to use the AMD RMA process and obtain a single-chip (200GE) to refresh the BIOS. Good luck!
For better understanding, the machine doesn't post updates when I turn on the power switch, unlike when the RAM is already installed or when the new RAM is in my own computer. Even after clearing the CMOS using both the cbat and battery removal methods, it still doesn’t respond. I removed the hard drive just to rule that out, and this model is a 3000 series ready without needing a BIOS update to function with this chipset. I bought it specifically to avoid this problem. Still confused.
