Feeling overwhelmed, here it is: Bios appearing/DOCP.
System details: CPU Ryzen 2700x, GPU XFX 5700, RAM 64 GB, 3200MHz, Ripjaw V MOBO, ASUS ROG Crosshairs VIII Hero, running Windows 10 Home. Installation process was challenging due to DOCP settings. After resetting to defaults, Windows installed successfully with updated drivers and utilities from the MOBO disc. Radeon graphics drivers were applied. When DOCP was enabled, the computer would crash or display a recovery screen with an error message. I learned to flash the BIOS before DOCP and followed instructions from forums. Formatting a USB to Fat32 helped, but the BIOS still flagged issues. The quick format didn’t resolve the problem, and the internet flash option failed despite a working Ethernet connection. I’m struggling to set up this motherboard while also dealing with the 3090 CPU, which is causing further complications. Help would be greatly appreciated.
No specific reason is required for enabling docp. It depends on your needs and configuration.
Ryzen performs best with quick memory speeds. For OP, turn on DOCP, adjust the frequency to 2933MHz, and configure the DRAM voltage at 1.35v while setting SOC voltage to 1.15v.
Extract the .pcap file from the zip folder and transfer it to a USB drive. Connect the USB to your device and use it to play the pcap file.
