Feeling lost, I'm not sure how to proceed...
4 Days ago I bought Assassins Creed Black Flag for $5 on G2A. I played it before but it got deleted (Uplay removed it). It was deleted again now! If you ask why I bought it, it was because I didn’t finish the game—I just wanted to complete it. I like ASBF and wanted to finish it. It got deleted once more! Frustrating! Why did I pay for it? I didn’t steal or hack it. I’m really upset, so I’m downloading Pirate Assassins Creed Black Flag and contacting Uplay. They asked where I bought the game. Does it matter that I paid? I’m worried about losing money and saving for my new PC! Now I’m down to $5! FUCK! And it seems people in my area are doing the same.
Because you didn't steal the game doesn't mean the shop didn't sell stolen items. You might have purchased goods that were already taken. This article is also worth reading http://gamasutra.com/blogs/KonstantinEwa...yright.php
The source of the download code affects its legitimacy. Many instances have shown resellers selling keys that Ubisoft has since removed. This means your code likely came from a stolen version. It's not your responsibility—someone else sold you a compromised key.
Ignorance isn't an excuse—the game is significantly cheaper, around 90% less than elsewhere. That’s a major red flag, which is why I don’t fully trust G2A. While many keys might be genuine, I’ve heard numerous reports of stolen keys and problematic transactions.
