I also enjoy Fedora. I was initially hesitant about GNOME's built-in customization. But GNOME Tweaks and extensions make it easy to personalize your desktop. What concerns do you have about dnf? From what I understand, the default mirrors, servers, and repositories aren't automatically optimized for speed. That's not the case in Ubuntu either, so it's simpler to adjust right away. It's clear and obvious. You can't overlook it. In Fedora, open a .file with nano or any text editor and insert lines to enable simultaneous downloads and automatically pick the fastest mirror each time.
