You recently set up Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool on a USB drive. The latest version with FCU included works, but when you click links in programs like Skype, it opens slowly—sometimes taking about five minutes. Depending on which program loads the link, the browser may freeze or create a new tab after a delay, though Chrome or Edge usually function normally. This issue occurred on a brand-new computer, and reinstalling Windows didn’t resolve it. Could you share more details about the programs involved or any error messages you see?

I encountered an issue with Vivaldi where the browser takes about a minute to load. On slower machines it works immediately. It's unclear if the problem lies with my computer or the browser itself.

Because Edge was very slow and not responding, I thought it might be linked to the Windows API used by other apps. Edge replaced Internet Explorer, which was once deeply integrated into Windows, and many functions depended on it. Someone mentioned that most programs still use old web opening methods to explain why Outlook takes so long. I searched for a way to reinstall Edge and followed a guide from Intowindows.com. After doing so, everything functioned correctly.

The issue with slow loading seems linked to Internet Explorer. It should become clearer once I set up the new system.

Edge isn't working, but there could be other reasons. It's possible I got a faulty installation since others didn't have the issue from a clean setup. Another chance is that being an insider might have exposed me to a bug that gave me an unstable version on my usual machine.
