I don't have personal preferences, but I can share what many players enjoy about Minecraft updates. Some find excitement in new mechanics, improved graphics, or expanded worlds. Let me know if you'd like details on a specific update!

Likely every single one up to around 1.8, after that the strange mobs and things began appearing. The best was 1.3, though I was still a young guy. Then it went to 1.7 and 1.14 afterward.

Because my world editing tool functioned properly at that time, I felt able to construct red stone machines as if it were anyone else's responsibility.

My favourite version still probably has to be 1.2.5, it's where a lot of the big modpacks became popular, the OG tekkit was the shit for a while (Mainly because 1.3 took was longer then it should have). In terms of content added to the game idk, there is usually something cool in each update, I really like the 1.13 update and all the stuff that came with it but I would have to say all the recent updates were good (except the combat system overhaul imo).
