My BIOS seems to have issues when using the AVR with Onkyo TX-SR604. The computer output goes straight through the AVR to the monitor, but it works fine when I run from my PC. The problems become more noticeable as I interact with more settings. I've reset the BIOS, but it didn't fix the issue. IMG_0842.HEIC IMG_0843.HEIC

It seems like a scene from a film about electrical interference. You're probably looking for some adjustments. Would you like me to rework the cables?

Sure, I can help with that. It sounds like the issue might be limited to the BIOS settings, while other components are functioning normally.

I changed the cables again but the problem persists. What should we do next?

Do you possess every chipset driver ready? It seems the BIOS is the only one affected, not Windows in general.

I don't see anything in Windows that I can identify.

Really, I don't understand why it would be doing that. Apart from interference, I can't think of any reason for the bios to appear corrupted in such a way. People like @RONOTHAN## seem more knowledgeable technically. He might be able to provide some insight...

I’d expect a peculiar fix-up scenario, because BIOS typically only handles a few resolutions (MSI lists 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1080, and 2560x1440, though I might be mistaken). My assumption is it’s defaulting to a setting the receiver dislikes, causing minor corruption. Adjusting the BIOS resolution to something other than HD should likely resolve the problem. I don’t remember the exact location in MSI BIOS, but it’s probably there. As for @Dedayog, this seems odd—it shouldn’t show up everywhere unless there’s a protocol mismatch.

It's not as severe as the other problem, and I can handle it easily. Your input is appreciated too.
