The damaged, airborne sword likely hit the cat passing by. I had no idea what was hitting her.

I have upgraded from the original 120mm fan included with the scythe, which I think runs at around 1500rpm. I switched to a 2800 rpm thermaltake, and temperatures drop to 63* idle on my 3.15ghz OC'd e4300 with a 1.4vcore. After completing a four-hour prime95 stress test, it never exceeded 108*'s, which is quite satisfactory.

With the original fan, I was well above 120*'s, and idle was around 77*. The system is housed in a cabinet that connects to a large storage area. I can only hear the fans clearly once I open the cabinet.

Search for Delta supporters. They are extremely loud, yet they accomplish their tasks.

Just tried putting a mini vacuum in the cabinet I installed (it's really loud). I could hear it, but not too much. Usually I leave my AC conditioner off when testing, but when it's on it completely masks everything. Thanks for the info—I've already ordered two Delta 120x38mm TFB1212GHE Extreme High Speed fans. I'll share some videos showing the case open/closed and then with everything running at full speed.

Good luck man, those fans are easily louder than your average vacuum.
