I used all standard configurations, never made any adjustments. I got my router connected and everything functioned properly. Regarding the network setup, I hadn’t encountered any issues before. When I’m not uploading or running speed tests, everything works smoothly; only when I start using data does the problem appear.
I believe you're experiencing a discrepancy where your download speed on Speedtest.net is higher than what you're seeing on Steam, Blizzard, etc. It might help to verify the speeds on both devices and adjust your settings on Speedtest.net to see if it improves the results.
router/switch/modem or whatever you use is working fine. I had a connection speed of 1000/800mbps, but suddenly hit a wall one day. Ping spikes were huge during downloads and it would cap at 100mbps. It turned out the device was faulty, and after replacement everything worked again.
