You're planning to upgrade your B550 Ryzen 5600 mini ITX system. I'll help you find a suitable RAM solution. For a 2x16GB configuration in a 2-slot MMO, look for reliable options like Corsair, G.Skill, or Crucial. Avoid overpriced or low-quality brands unless necessary. The trade-off between speed (4000 MHz vs 3600 MHz) and capacity (CL16 vs CL18) depends on your needs—prioritize stability and value over marginal gains. Check current deals for budget-friendly kits that meet your requirements.

Realistically, a 5600 offers little extra speed compared to a 3200MT/s CL16. Opt for a more affordable solution and stop searching. A 4000MT/s setup is unlikely to outperform 3200MT/s in direct comparison, and it may underperform in 1:1 mode. Adjusting RAM manually isn't practical unless you invest in a proper overclocking kit. A 3600MT/s CL16 doesn’t justify the price difference. Most systems use similar memory ICs from Micron, Samsung, SK Hynix or Nanya. The key factors are PCB design and on-chip XMP profiles, which vary slightly but rarely impact results if you set them yourself. Remember, RAM speed mainly depends on BIOS timings—whether determined by the motherboard using JEDEC standards or via XMP settings. For two identical 3200MT/s kits with matching settings, performance will match exactly. Only by testing the specific hardware can you determine real differences.
