Hey everyone! I just noticed a deal on FarCry 3 for around $8. I recently upgraded my PC with a GTX 970 and mostly play Dota 2. I’m looking for more challenging games that fit my budget after my new build. Was FarCry 3 a solid choice? I’ve checked reviews and videos, but there are many complaints about the engine from Ubisoft forcing players to run it. What do you think?

It's incredible. Everyone understands that a single moment matters. I'm not going to reveal the details, but... wow.

You’ll need to buy it from Steam, but many reviews warn against it since it’s only available via the Uplay platform, which Ubisoft now requires. Some players say it doesn’t work at all. Clarify if you want more details about the problems.

Uplay might be a bit unstable, yet this game is definitely worth the effort.

Far Cry 3 offers a solid gaming experience. The narrative and characters didn’t appeal to me, but the gameplay was enjoyable. Using Uplay alongside Steam added some extra steps, though it functioned reliably each time. It wouldn’t deter someone from playing the game.

Refers to the game involving Hoyt or the final choice where you select the undesirable option.

I also don’t have a controller at the moment. Would using the mouse and keyboard work okay? Is it easier with the controller? I’ve mostly chosen to buy it, though.
