I have an R9 290, which is roughly the same. But I believe you're misinterpreting my message; I'm not claiming your setup is causing low frame rates. I'm suggesting the game isn't well optimized and a properly optimized game should achieve that frame rate at 1440p.

DirectX isn't the issue. The real challenge lies with unskilled game designers. We've seen many visually impressive titles run smoothly on DirectX 11.

Yea.. But still, its a quite good game. Nice gameplay, nice graph, nice environment, but terrible framerate (people said so) But to me, 55 FPS is ok. Since im using 60Hz IPS panel anyway.

DirectX serves as a foundation for development, and while it was ahead of its time a few years back, it now feels outdated compared to recent advancements. For the past couple of generations, we've witnessed graphics hardware pushing boundaries against software capabilities. I agree Unity isn't optimized well, but it still offered flexibility—if you had the right hardware, you could run impressive applications.

It's quite impressive how smooth and polished it looks at 24 frames per second.
