FC4 needs to go through Steam and Uplay too, just like every other Ubisoft title you purchase on Steam. The reason FC4 was exempted from this rule isn’t clear, while FC3 followed the same path.

I purchased Far Cry 4 on Uplay rather than Steam. I don’t have any strong objections to Uplay.
