Perhaps it's worth giving it a shot. An SSD would also assist, especially with Win and games running to boost I/O speeds, while assets load dynamically. FC6 should likely receive an update soon, which seems typical for recent releases. A quad-core CPU isn't much better. The game review encountered issues even at 9900k, so it's still in its early stages and rarely gets fully polished.

Set up a Win10 installer using the Microsoft media creation tool and use your Win7 key when prompted for a product key. If you proceed this way, connect only one drive so the installation stays focused on that drive, avoiding conflicts with other storage devices. This helps ensure a stable boot process even if another HDD fails or is removed.
