Hello. No one has ever reported such an issue before. Both the fan and lighting are connected to the mainboard. I lost full control of all four front fans, their speed, and RPM—only ten fans remain active. They were online for less than a week. The other fans still run, but the RGB flickers erratically as if trying to switch back to L-connect 3 control. When I press apply on the device page, the four fans spin up again, then shut down immediately without any light output. My RGB usually stays green, but it changes when the CPU temperature exceeds 80°C. There are ten fans in total: three on port 1, four on port 2, and three on port 4. The L-connect 3 controller version is 1.6.9, firmware is uncertain, and I haven’t updated yet.

Controller swap failed... swapping the cable resolved the issue, though... there remains an odd behavior with the lights—it seems slightly misaligned.

It seems to be another failure. I switched to a different controller and used separate SATA cables from the PSU to each connector. It looks like it’s going to repeat the issue. The RGB isn’t working properly, and the fans aren’t reading RPM data. On the third cable, two units have already died. I’m reaching out to Lian-Li tech support for help. I own an EVGA Supernova 1600W G2 PSU, which should provide enough power.

It turned out there was a faulty connection on one of the fans. A pin failed to come out after being pressed in. I sent Lian-li a package with replacement fans, and they were installed successfully. Everything is now working fine.
