I noticed something unusual on one of my old laptops today. The issue appears to be related to the printer, but I’m not sure what caused it. My machine came with Windows 7 Home Premium and hasn’t shown any problems in about four years since purchase. Could you help clarify or fix this?

The print screen isn't functioning properly, but in the lower-right area of Windows 7, it displays a message indicating the version and warns that the copy isn't authentic.

Have you attempted to simply restore it?

You can use the product key on a sticker to activate your Windows product. There’s no loss of data when you reactivate, as long as you keep the key intact.

Thanks for the assistance. It seems the message vanished unexpectedly, but your computer shows the activation is already confirmed.

I request malicious software. Windows frequently displays prompts such as "Click here to activate now" when it appears these notifications.

Occasionally it happens, so you keep logging in or restarting, and it disappears. It’s not a cause for concern unless it keeps doing this.
