Autosave behaves similarly to Skyrim, but it doesn't clearly mark which one is an autosave. I prefer creating extra saves for each character for specific reasons.

Have you tried talking to her without power armor on? There is a big related to her in a miscellaneous quest that causes her to become hostile if the player is wearing power armor. Also the ID for the quest is 00022a07, at least that is what I found online. I'm too tired to see what it is in game.
The most basic solution often works best. I just rebooted the game and it functioned... Remember to save hard and not just quick saves.
