Fallout 4 stuff and all the good stuff.
The main story is quite brief and offers only about half the side quests found in New Vegas. I finished most quests in the first five days, skipping the wiki only when I needed help discovering new material. To my surprise, I managed nearly everything without it.
Have you explored the full story or just read what others think? I just wrapped up the main quest. To be honest, it’s a huge improvement over Fallout 3 and Skyrim. It blends the straightforwardness of Fallout 3 with the depth of Fallout: New Vegas. I’m really pleased with the narrative and plan to do another round, maybe even a third or fourth for maximum enjoyment. Right now I’ve logged around 75 hours. It’s less intense than New Vegas but still better than Skyrim and Fallout 3.
It displays your intended words rather than confirming or denying them. What do you understand by consequences?
It felt like someone got upset or left, and it stopped the conversation. Your words seemed to make a real difference in the game, kind of like a joke changing the outcome!
Hey, to each their own! I have hundreds of hours into Fallout 3, but New Vegas did not catch my interest at all. I think Fallout 4 is a very good middle ground, not too simple and not too complex. Maybe I'm still a little salty that I finished Fallout 3 before Broken Steel came out and couldn't continue playing, but hey, whatever lol.
