I placed a pre-order for Fallout 4, expecting it to release the next day. Steam claims you can start playing immediately. Decide whether to proceed, keeping in mind the possibility of account suspension if you're unsure.

It's 12:16 PM EST when the unlock happens, which seems deliberate. I received GTA5 around 8 PM on Monday, but it wasn't released until Tuesday. You're all set—my unlock time was 12 AM GMT.

If they inform you you can play the game, then the reason for banning you seems unreasonable. That would be absurd.

I’ve tried games long before they came out for various reasons and haven’t been banned. It’s their responsibility if you can still play it. There’s no valid reason for a ban unless you try to cheat the system.
