I checked all the suggested modifications from the Reddit thread. FPS problems persisted inside buildings. I’ll have to wait for further updates from AMD or Beth. Thanks again for the assistance.

I faced the same problems too, but no matter how low I adjusted my graphics settings, the frame rate kept dropping. It turned out my ini files were set to "real only," so I played the game normally except for bright lights on high and shadows at medium. The visual quality didn’t change much, and my frame rate stayed around 80, which is the cap I set.

I noticed some frame drops when I was near Diamond City, especially at higher distances. By adjusting the shadow distance from ultra to high, I maintained stability (everything else stayed on ultra). It might help to tweak the shadow draw distance, but I’m not sure. Let me know if this helps!

Shadow distance and God rays were initially suggested, but they didn’t resolve the problem. Could you clarify what you mean by "real"? Are you referring to higher settings? If not, I’m using medium settings now.

They likely altered the settings to disable reading, which explains why the launcher works best with VSync enabled. It might also depend on changes made through the launcher itself.

I attempted to disable Vsync and noticed a noticeable boost in performance. It’s significantly better than before, allowing me to increase settings to ultra while keeping a high FPS. I might need to reduce shadow distance since certain downtown areas cause it to drop to the 40s.

An issue I've found is tessellation. It comes standard at 64x. Should be 16x. Rapes cards. Turn off motion blur. Turn off Vsync Tunr off DoF Be happy.
