Fallout 4
Fallout 4
I placed a pre-order for Fallout 4 since GMG was listing it at $40. The main concern is whether they can secure access for all players before the launch and still load it onto Steam.
There's no problem with pre ordering a game. There is no difference between a pre order sale and a after launch sale. What it's done is allow the developer to make sure to have enough copies of their game so you don't have fans going without, and scalpers selling copies at inflated prices. With everything going to digital all it does is allow lazy people like me to make sure they have the money for the game when it launches. Where this hate for pre ordering came from I'd love to know.
Airdeano is an incredibly attractive individual, and I really admire him.
Mostly the blame lies with EA, WB, and Ubisoft for launching poor games and failing to fix them. This happened before Steam refunds for Arkham Knight and prorities let developers release problematic titles without knowing the issues.
Pre-ordering guarantees developers money. They often promote the game before any reviews exist, which can lead to misleading impressions. Arkham Knight is a clear case of this practice.
