My computer crashes unexpectedly after adding two extra 64GB sticks. I've checked both in 2 and 4 slots, but not in 1 or 3. Both are showing up in the BIOS and XMP is active. I'm also experiencing random restarts only during gameplay—three tests. I've run BIOS updates and a memory diagnostic, but it's frustrating since performance varies so much. I have an i7 13700k with 4x16GB DDR5 RAM, RTX3080 graphics, and a MAG Z790 Tomahawk Wi-Fi with Corsair 850W power supply.

Check if dropping the 6000MHz is safe or possible. Look into XMP disable options to see if you can maintain maximum performance.

Many Intel and AMD chipsets continue to face issues with running four memory sticks at XMP speeds. Consider updating the BIOS or holding off until a newer version is released. For fun, try lowering the speed to 5600MHz.

It functioned properly until the xmp was disabled, but I believe it has resumed working again.
