Failed to start Ubuntu during dual boot setup.

I was attempting to run a dual boot between Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.6 for machine learning needs. Once the Ubuntu installation completed, I encountered a boot screen instead of the operating system. I've reinstalled it multiple times but the issue remains. It seems related to my hardware or configuration. I'm not very comfortable with Ubuntu, though I have experience with dual booting Windows and Ubuntu on an older laptop. Secure boot is turned off there. Could anyone assist me with this? My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 16GB RAM, 2x8 3200MHz Corsair Vengance LPX, Nvidia RTX 2600, SUPER MSI B550M PRO-VDH. Also, a UB500 USB Bluetooth adapter is present.

It seems the kernel version in 20.04 isn't compatible with Ryzen 5xxx processors. The suggested solution might be complicated. Check the forum link for more details.

Check if CUDA 11.3 fits your Ubuntu version. Nvidia lists support up to 20.04, so it seems you might need to wait for CUDA 12. If you're concerned about missing features, consider hoping CUDA 12 arrives smoothly.

Are you looking for a particular version of CUDA? I’m working with CUDA 12.3 on Arch and have Ubuntu 23.04 with CUDA 11.8 and 23.10. Let me know your requirements!
