I recently got a brand new build. At first I managed to start it using the BIOS settings. After that, I turned off the PC, connected a USB drive with Windows, and now it won’t boot at all. I unplugged it and tried again but still nothing. The power is on, fans are running, the monitor lights up briefly before shutting off again. I’m having trouble getting into the BIOS or making any changes. Any advice would be appreciated.

Recently observed some unusual behavior. When the system powers up, a red and orange light appeared on the motherboard initially, then changed to white (indicating monitor activation), followed by green, and finally there were no lights left. The motherboard model is MSI B650.

I suspect a shift occurred after the initial startup to BIOS. Disconnect the computer from power, then take out the CMOS battery to reset to factory defaults and attempt the process once more.

Thank you for your reply. It seems I may have resolved the problem by adjusting connections near the PC. I'm now installing Windows. I likely inserted some components during initial startup and then connected the USB, but I forgot about it. I hope everything proceeds without issues moving forward.
