this is stupid now so ive have tried to run as admin locate files and restart steam SO ???? i cant even refund but the game worked a few months ago so
The game is still in beta—don’t assume it will run perfectly every time. Have you looked at the PUBG forum on Reddit? They might have helpful answers there. By the way, I just tried it myself and it worked smoothly!
It seems unrelated to the beta version since others are handling it smoothly. I'm unsure what's happening. I've attempted to move files, but nothing changes unless I reinstall.
I encountered this problem, so logged out of Steam and signed in again. Double-check that the "remember user" option is enabled; otherwise, you might keep getting this message. When switching between a Smurf account and PUBG, it doesn't start properly until you log back into Steam.
I just needed to launch the Steam client in admin mode properly. A few things came up along the way.
I’d also consider removing it and shifting focus… Perhaps try some War Thunder instead.
