The display runs at 144Hz with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution. After updating graphics drivers, you're still capped at 144 FPS across all games. It's disabled in Adrenaline, but it appears to be the limiting factor regardless of settings. Rebooting after installing GPU drivers might help, but changing Adrenaline settings could also make a difference.

Riva tuner specs? Just to note, the 5950XT isn't suited for high-refresh gaming. For most gamers, trade it in for a 5700X3D or 5800X3D.

Hey, you got it right! I was really struggling, haven't used Rivatuner in ages. It's cool to see the new 5800X3D on my desk—can't wait to install it. Plus, the 5950X will replace the 3900XT in my Linux setup, which means I'll have another box soon with the 3900XT inside. o.x!

Keep track of your GPU performance. It might be time to consider swapping in the 5950X soon... XD

The 5950X served as a balanced choice for gaming at the time. I frequently handled video encoding using the CPU back then, and it proved to be quite useful. Nowadays, I’m less involved in editing or encoding. It’s expected to be replaced soon by the 5800X3D. I tried using Process Lasso to address potential performance hiccups from its high thread count, but the heat it generates becomes an issue during warmer months. I ran ECO mode with CCX turned off and SMT disabled, achieving comparable results whether CCX was enabled or SMT was active, and maintaining similar temperatures.
