Failed to merge two hard drive partitions into a single unit.
I’m facing issues merging two hard drive partitions using the Sandisk SSD Plus. It looks like an unremovable partition is preventing the fusion process. There might be a solution to combine them without overwriting data. I’ve already tried increasing space allocation, but it caused errors. Could there be another method to achieve this?
You can use gparted to relocate that 350MB partition closer to the start of the drive, shift the e drive to the left, and then expand the partition. If you're comfortable, reformatting the drive would merge everything into a single large partition, then restore your backups.
Launch File Explorer, click the drive with the right-click menu and select Format. If it appears available, it should proceed; however, be aware it may retain a boot record. Using DiskPart offers a more reliable solution.
