Hey, I’m new to Kali and have been struggling with getting my Wi-Fi to connect properly. It keeps showing up as a tethered Ethernet connection, even though I set it up correctly. I switched to the bridged adapter mode and chose the network card that runs my laptops’ Wi-Fi, but it still doesn’t register as an Ethernet connection. I changed the settings to use a bridged adapter and set the MAC address to the router’s address in Advanced, but the issue persists. I’ve looked at many YouTube tutorials, but they all seem to suggest different steps. It’s frustrating because I thought it should be straightforward once I pick the right options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Do you need to connect your Wi-Fi adapter inside the VM? Probably not. It's better to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter and route it to the VM. See this guide for Kali Linux VirtualBox: https://www.systranbox.com/how-to-connec...irtualbox/
