Did you test it with higher GPU core voltage? Most AMD GPUs come with a fairly high voltage by default, which might cause an issue. It could be that your system is trying to restrict the limits of your MB or PCU, possibly due to a combination of both factors. Consider reducing the bit voltage and then adjusting the overclock settings next. Lowering the voltage results in reduced power usage.

I’ll give it a shot, but honestly I don’t believe it will make a difference. It was functioning just fine before the upgrade...
Manv asked if the screen turns black when trying to OC.
Mister_MO suggested checking with higher GPU core voltage, noting that most AMD GPUs have a high factory voltage which might be the issue. He thought it could be due to limits on MB or PCU handling, possibly a combination of both. He recommended lowering the bit voltage and then testing. Lowering voltage reduces power use.
He shared updates:
1) He also used Sapphire Trixx, which caused black screens during OC but produced artifacts like line crossings instead.
2) He also tried reducing voltages or power limits, but it didn’t resolve the problem.
