While assembling my PC I attempted to enable DOCP but it failed. Eventually it functioned at 3200mt/s (though displays show 3200mhz). After some time it crashed into a BOSD and required a Windows reset. A few weeks later it worked again at 3200mt/s, but after shutting it down and restarting an hour later it stopped completely, showing an evbd0a.sys error before powering off. I turned off DOCP and it resumed working. I’m still new to RAM OC—can you help me reach 3600mt/s? My build includes a Ryzen 7 3700X, Asus B450-F Gaming 4x 8G Corsair vengance pro RGB at 3600mt/s, RX6500 600W, BeQuiet pure power 11.
Timing checks were made against specifications listed in the board manufacturer's QVL. Voltage requirements were confirmed to match. Stability problems appeared with non-recommended RAM; switching to QVL-suggested memory resolved the issue and allowed automatic detection.
If your memory sticks aren't seated properly, you might be missing something. Even with RAM set to QVL, the board's timing could still be off. Disabling DOCP and running at the default clock speed often resolves problems. Sometimes turning it off or adjusting XMP settings can improve stability, though results aren't guaranteed.
