Hi, I've been using ZeroNet for a while now, but I've consistently struggled to get port 15541 up under my Xiaomi Mi3 router (Padavan). After about ten seconds of startup, it doesn't appear. At first I didn’t try too hard, thinking it wasn’t necessary for basic browsing, but now I need to host a test site and can’t proceed without it. My current arrangement is: a TP-Link TD-W9970 in modem-router mode (wireless off), paired with a Xiaomi Mi3 running Padavan in wireless mode to enable uPnP and firewall settings. When I connect my laptop directly to the TD-W9970, port 15541 works fine, but when the Mi3 router sits between them, I can’t access it—even though uPnP and port forwarding are enabled and I’ve set up custom rules allowing traffic through. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it, as nothing I found online helped much.

You're dealing with double NAT. Running the second router in router mode is really frustrating. It's super hard to get port forwarding through both devices, which is why it's not recommended to use two routers initially. Just switch the modem to bridge mode or set the second router as an access point.

I assume you'll need to wait until later this week to connect the routers. This configuration applies to the whole family, not just me, though I do have special access as the technician, IT manager, and system manager because I'm the only one with that knowledge. Regarding port forwarding, it's possible to set it up across multiple routers regardless of the difficulty involved.

Perhaps, though I've never managed to do it.

Well then, locating the time took a little longer, but the routers are now connected. Sadly, port 15441 stays closed, even after my efforts to access it. Edit: port 15441 opened using TCP, not UDP, which stops ZeroNet from recognizing it.
