There seems to be an issue with CP not updating properly. It isn't just a simple copy or anything. I've been trying to download the newest patch manually, but all the links point to questionable torrent sites. It doesn't update automatically. If it won't, how can I force it? I'm using an older version and really need the latest fix to understand what's going on! Thanks ahead.

The game refreshes using the DRM system. Available on Steam, Epic Games, or via its own installer (assuming that option exists). Which version do you have?

The nearest match would be GOG Galaxy. It's not a DRM product, but it's a library management tool that handles cloud syncing and updates automatically when instructed.

It's a typical standard PC release, currently only available on version 1.3. Purchased some time back. Not found in my Steam library or Epic Games catalog. Unclear if it came from another source—it might just be a generic copy.

Probably from GOG, you should install GOG Galaxy for updates. If you want, visit your GOG account, go to Games → Cyberpunk 2077 → Download Offline Backup Game Installers, and obtain the 28-part installation package (it seems you can't just pick only the update files manually).

Just got GOG Galaxy and the CP appears in my owned games list, but it isn’t installed even though it’s there! I’m planning to reinstall it, which should solve the issue. Quite strange. I’ll let you all know if it works so others can check too.

Seems encouraging with the download progress and automatic updates enabled

It functioned in a way, but the Nvidia overlay failed to display FPS. It runs noticeably slower compared to the ultra version. Still functional, though it seems to be operating at about 30-40 frames per second—much lower than the ultra settings and not much better overall. A bit let down.

For future reference, you can indicate the installation directory you already have the game in, and it will detect and refresh it. If you're using GOG Galaxy 2.0, look for the gear icon in the top left corner, then select "Add games & friends" followed by scanning folders for GOG titles.

I thought there should be a simpler solution! Luckily the GOG servers loaded quickly and reinstalled promptly. It seems many gaming platforms likely have speed restrictions in the UK, especially with my 500MB connection—while 1GB is available, it often doesn’t feel very useful. Full download speeds are uncommon here.
