Hey, I just got the Gskill tridentZ Neo 32GB with 3600MHz. My CPU (i5-11400f) only supports up to 3200MHz. The issue I'm having is that I can't find any BIOS settings to adjust the memory frequency or set XMP profiles to 3600, and even if I do, it doesn't change it to 3200MHz. My goal is to reach 3200MHz. I have a Giagbyte Aorus B560 Pro Rev1 motherboard. The PC works fine initially, but the RAM is stuck at 2133MHz.

Change FLCC to 1600 and set the auto option to 3200.

The maximum memory speed isn't an absolute barrier, and adjusting it to the XMP settings is usually safe.

Keep it at xmp it functions well without any need to downclock. The 3200mhz is a reliable speed the CPU can handle, but you can easily exceed 5000 in higher settings and around 4000 in lower ones. Speed limits only affect voltage and heat, not performance. Your CPU won’t degrade until voltages surpass 1.45v Vcc/IO. RAM behavior varies by model, but most good modules remain stable even at high currents—typically they won’t fail unless you push beyond 2v for extended use.

Consider the expensive 3600 kit and compare it to alternatives like the 3200c16 or 3600c18. For performance rams, you can also choose a 4x8 setup using a used m378a1g43eb1 and OC to 3800/4000.
