Hello! I've encountered another issue, but I'm excited about it! I've been experimenting with my old laptop and right now I'm trying to boot it from a USB drive. However, I can't access the boot menu (or whatever it is) and the screen that shows which keys to press isn't displaying. I've been turning it on and off and pressing the usual keys without any luck. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! It's an Asus laptop, model aFewYearsOld (sorry, I don't know). Thanks in advance!

That's something you can't access through BIOS or directly on the motherboard. It might be best to consult a professional or seek more detailed guidance. No side effects mentioned yet, but it's wise to be cautious.

You managed to get into the bios after pressing the buttons quickly, which let you adjust your preferences. Appreciate it!

It's essentially restarting the system's firmware on a motherboard. You can often achieve this by connecting a button or a few pins to a desktop setup, though I'm not sure about laptops. Great that it worked!

For future use, you can pause the system while restarting Windows 10 (and versions 8/.1) and it will guide you to the advanced boot menu where you can select system recovery or your (u)efi/bios
