It might also clarify why it failed to set up the live filesystem on other distributions. It would likely become corrupted during decompression for mounting. From a security standpoint, I usually don’t have major concerns. I keep only non-sensitive data on my system; root access is required to cause damage, and I can quickly check and fix any issues with my arch installation if needed. Most of my online accounts use two-factor authentication. You could completely reset all installed packages except the base, then reinstall everything without ever exiting the Arch environment.
