Hi everyone, situation update – I recently upgraded my PC components (CPU, RAM, motherboard) and used the old parts to assemble a new system. It booted fine with the old M.2 slot I was using, except for losing the Windows key. When I built my own PC and tried to install Windows 11 on the new M.2, everything failed. I’ve experimented with installing Windows 11 and 10 from a bootable USB made from the official installer and using Rufus, but nothing worked. I’ve also looked at numerous fixes from YouTube videos, yet nothing resolved the issue. I’m left wondering if there’s a problem with the M.2 drive itself, similar to my previous one which worked perfectly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

While trying to set up Windows 11, it didn’t provide any details or trigger errors. Instead of the usual warnings like 0x8007025D or 0xc0000005, I encountered two distinct codes. After some YouTube solutions, it seemed to work temporarily. Recently, I updated my system but nothing changed—once I powered it on, it booted into Windows 11 and functioned properly. I played a movie for about three hours, then resumed downloading games. When trying Valorant, TPM 2.0 had to be enabled via BIOS, which resolved the issue. However, after several attempts, it stopped booting and wouldn’t let me reset the PC. It kept showing repair prompts and errors like “preparing automatic repair” or “diagnosing PC.” When I tried resetting, it reported a problem and blocked the process. Now I’m stuck, unable to delete data or reinstall Windows, even after swapping drives and formatting. I’m considering buying a new M.2 card to try again, as my old one seems permanently broken.
