I was thinking of switching to a different USB drive and reloading Windows onto it. Is that the tool you use to install the USB correctly? https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software.../windows10 In the BIOS, I should first select optimized defaults, then locate your USB and set it as the top priority in the boot sequence. You should also notice the drive connected to the system there.

Tried the yes option for the Windows 10 version, the rest with DVDs succeeded too

I think the issue lies here: the chip is just 32-bit, but I previously ran a 64-bit version of Windows 7 on it before switching to Linux.
