Hi everyone,

I’m facing a persistent issue on Facebook Marketplace that’s preventing me from posting any listings. The account displays “Full Access,” but when I attempt to publish, it prompts “Confirm Your Identity.” Clicking the link either cycles back or displays an empty/white screen. As a result, none of my advertisements are active, which is halting all potential sales.

What steps I’ve taken so far:
- Uploaded ID via Meta Verified (approved successfully ✅).
- Used various devices: iPhone, desktop PC, laptop (including one that had never logged in before).
- Tested different browsers: Safari, Chrome, Incognito/Private mode.
- Cleared cache and cookies, reinstalled the Facebook app.
- Tested in Australia and from Macedonia—same problem in both locations.
- Submitted multiple “Report a Problem” tickets through the app.
- Opened two formal support cases with Meta (IDs: 1135942858502080, 1300640018049517).
Meta’s response indicates Marketplace is outside their scope and won’t escalate further.

Possible cause:
I changed my Facebook name while in Europe overseas. This likely caused a mismatch between my ID and the Marketplace verification. Even though Meta Verified approved my ID, Marketplace appears “stuck” on outdated information.

Current situation:
It’s been weeks without any live Marketplace listings. My only sales channel via Facebook is now non-functional.

Meta representatives I’ve spoken with say they can’t even view my account status or reset it.

Questions:
- Has anyone else encountered this exact identity verification loop on Marketplace?
- Is there a way to manually “force refresh” or reset the verification flags myself?
- Or is this issue limited to Meta’s backend (Commerce Integrity / Marketplace Ops)?

Any advice or shared experiences would be extremely helpful—I’m really stuck in this situation.

Thanks in advance!

The issue lies with you and Facebook/Meta. You should address it with them.
