Yes, likely. It’s possible. The system would send a huge volume of data back and forth. If you’re using Chrome, it could be because Chrome consumes resources heavily, just like a person eating many Twinkies.

It might be related to my MacBook Air; most websites work normally but Facebook slows down significantly, forcing me to close the app frequently. We could attempt using a debugger to investigate further.
