i attempt to link to the minecraft server on my machine, but connecting from my computer works fine. however, when using https://mcsrvstat.us/, it reports the server is not online (error 110). i’ve turned on port forwarding, set a static ip, and allowed traffic through the firewall. i’ve been trying for about two hours and don’t know what to do next.

I prepared the port by specifying the target port number and confirmed the IP address was accurate.

You access the router settings via TP link, navigating to Advanced, NAT Forwarding, then Port Forwarding. Add a new entry with the service name "Minecraft Server," set the device IP, choose your computer as the external port (25565), internal port 25565, protocol all, enable it, and save.

I’ve likely interacted with the same platform—either through a mobile app or a web browser.

The server launch triggered a Windows firewall warning? Have you turned off the router?

The server started without any prompts appearing, and I haven’t restarted the router.

You've rebooted your devices but haven't seen any improvements.

You might need to add the server to the Windows firewall. Are there any additional antivirus or firewall software installed? Could you try linking to your server from another device on the same network?

When you began the server, Windows displayed a warning about network access. You were prompted whether to permit it or not. Did you grant permission, or did you simply dismiss the message?
