Hey, I'm new to Star Citizen and looking for the best builds for the F7C Hornet. Do you know if missiles are worth it or if there are other options that give good results?

Tempest IIs are solid missiles. They come in 8x units. You might need a missile rack. It's worth it if you can secure pickups in AC. They provide solid points at the end. Triple Tarantulas 870 MkIIs are decent. If you manage to get the ball turret, it works well against badgers.

I rarely rely on missiles. On my F7CS Ghost I own three mantis and a revenant; for extra safety, you could swap two mantis for two cf227s.

Fast weapons are in focus right now—repeaters and gatling guns dominate due to netcode and frame stability challenges. Once you accumulate enough REC, mount the ball turret and consider Panthers+badgers or Mantis+revenant. If you're using a mouse with gimbals, go all-in on badgers. As your aim improves, try slower-rate fire options like M-Series. NN-14 neutron guns work too. Missiles are currently problematic and largely disallowed in competitive play. For beginners, adding them can boost your damage but be ready for heavy losses. I recommend using them sparingly and focusing on mastering the guns. For guidance, check out our Discord at https://discordapp.com/invite/0ZFgG6Y9m9xdFg17. We host weekly flight and combat sessions plus Saturday meetups.
