It's straightforward if you have the monitors and GPUs for surround sound, do you often? I discovered that a few of my friends with eyefinity setups stopped using it after a short time because they didn't find it very good and we weren't happy with it.

I’m more interested in racing and flying games, but aside from that I don’t see much value. Still, with Oculus on the horizon, it looks like a much better choice.

I’d consider adding more monitors for a few games, but not for daily use. Having three would work well—central gaming area, left side for Teamspeak/metrics, right for YouTube/videos.

Attempted to use Eyefinity on a 32" 1080p TV and a 1366x768p monitor positioned apart... never again. Not interested in surround sound gaming beyond simulations.

Once I adjusted my monitors to portrait mode, surround gaming became incredibly appealing. I wasn’t too fond of landscape surround, but the portrait setup was stunning—I really got excited in L4D2 because the zombies looked almost life-sized, lol.

I don't like it. Perhaps with fully borderless monitors it would be better. It needs to work smoothly for me to function properly.

It would be better if more games truly supported it. It’s frustrating having to rely on third-party tools just to get it working. Since it’s feasible, the low adoption—over 90% of games don’t—makes me feel disappointed not being able to use it as much as I’d like.
