Extremely slow startup duration.
Your Windows 10 is experiencing slow startup times despite using the latest updates. Your system specs are solid but may benefit from optimization. Consider checking for background processes, updating drivers, and ensuring your SSD is properly seated. Also, verify that the C: drive isn’t full and that you’re using the right boot settings. If the issue persists, running a disk cleanup or defragmenting might help. Let me know if you need further guidance!
Windows is running on a mechanical hard drive, which consistently reduces performance. It’s best to switch to an SSD or perform a fresh installation on the drive for faster speeds.
A 60-second boot time works well, particularly with programs designed to load automatically. If your operating system is installed on the C: drive from your older 500GB Seagate, this could be the reason, as a slower 5400rpm compared to 7200rpm will naturally slow things down. Switching to an SSD would likely improve performance. Still, 60 seconds isn’t problematic at all.
It's set up on my new hard drive, and when I can afford it, I plan to upgrade to an SSD—possibly a 250GB Samsung model.
