Did you adjust your primary display settings to 4K? After adding the new GPU, the resolution shifted from 1440p to 4K, which could affect performance. It might help to verify this change.

I understand. You could use the Display Driver Uninstaller to remove existing drivers and then install new ones from Nvidia.

I saved the latest drivers from NVIDIA's site, but I'm still getting only 80 FPS. Do I need to relocate the file, or is it already set correctly? I really don't understand this.

You should switch to safe mode to troubleshoot issues. For AMD and NVIDIA, identify conflicting drivers and disable or remove them.

92c@77% utilization? The hotspot is likely far beyond that level. Execute GPU-Z to inspect the hotspot, Perfcap Reason, and CPU/VRAM frequency limits. It seems like thermal throttling is occurring.

Safe Mode can be skipped—I'll delete both items. Next, launch the driver installer you previously saved.

The fan runs infrequently, which might indicate an issue with its curve and suggests a need for adjustment.

Sure, I'll give it another shot. Just make sure to check the settings for safe mode before trying again.

For Windows 10 and 11, you can find guides on how to start in Safe Mode. This process varies slightly between the two versions. When in Safe Mode, applications will run without issues.
