Hey everyone, I bought an RS6 on sale and it’s been great. But with my OC'd 3570K, my CPU stays at 100% no matter the settings—V-Sync on or off, 1 or 2 frames per second. This causes a pretty noticeable micro-stutter. Anyone else see this? Would you suggest adjusting any settings to lower the CPU load?

I understand your concern about high CPU usage despite 30fps. I’m aware of the constraints of my 3570K and usually lower the frame rate to 60fps for smoother performance while boosting DSR. However, I haven’t encountered such intense demands before, especially since RS6 isn’t a recent title.

Your GPU performance is currently within acceptable limits. If usage stays below 50%, it shouldn't be considered a constraint.

With V-Sync disabled, the monitor stays near 80%. When V-Sync is active at refresh rate, GPU performance drops to 70-75%, and at half-refresh it's around 55%. The main problem is stuttering caused by high CPU load, which significantly affects gameplay.

Might just be your CPU struggling to keep up with the game, if it was a bottleneck then you wouldn't see GPU usage past probably 60%. I would look for a 3770K.
