Hi everyone, I have a concern about my new build. First, the HWMonitor only shows one core in the temperature tab—am I seeing this as typical for an AMD Rayzen 7 3700X? Second, the CPU temperature stays around 50°C even when no heavy apps are running. I thought this was due to the stock cooling, but after switching to the Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M, it didn’t drop. Is this normal for these types of CPUs? Also, the BIOS is up to date (B450 MSI Carbon), and the CPU power setting shows 12 pins, though I’ve only used 8 pins. Can you help me understand what’s going on?
It's typical, as CPUs differ from Intel in how they report temperatures. I'm not sure if it's an average reading or one sensor, but it's still normal.
